The vivid verses reminded me of my transition journey from adolescence. It is indeed a very critical stage of one’s life, experiencing new things and facing the challenges of life that can become overwhelming, but Adele has beautifully represented this chapter of life. Adele has skillfully portrayed her transformation from a confused adolescent to a self-assured adult. It is definitely one of my favourite reads!

One of my favourite poems was ‘Life is Nothing Like a Book,’ – I couldn’t stop myself from appreciating the skilful use of language that captured the true essence of life in this book.
